The Future of Formwork: Magnesium (Mg)

To meet the evolving demands of construction, PPM introduces its innovatively designed magnesium formwork.
Our ultra-lightweight magnesium formwork maximizes on-site efficiency while delivering exceptional durability,
providing exceptional performance and a variety of benefits throughout the construction process.

Excellent lightweight

Our magnesium formwork is more than 20% lighter than aluminum (Al) formwork, reducing the burden on workers and shortening installation, dismantling, and transportation times.

This significantly improves formwork speed, maximizing overall process productivity.

Excellent corrosion resistance

The epoxy coating, developed specifically for magnesium formwork, provides outstanding corrosion resistance in a variety of environments.

This extends the life of the formwork and reduces maintenance costs.

All sizes required for construction sites can be provided.

Advanced manufacturing technology

Our magnesium formwork can be manufactured up to 1,800 mm wide without face welding, a unique technology that cannot be achieved with conventional extrusion methods.

The face plate is manufactured using TRC (Twin Roll Casting) and then rolled (4 mm thick, AZ31B). The side rails and channel braces are produced using an extrusion process using AZ31B.

Why choose magnesium formwork?

High work efficiency

Using lightweight materials reduces installation, dismantling, and transport times, speeding up work and accelerating overall project schedules.

Economic cost savings

Because magnesium material itself is lightweight, transportation and labor costs are reduced, effectively lowering the overall construction cost.

Eco-friendliness

Magnesium is a renewable material compared to traditional building materials, making it an alternative that can contribute to the realization of eco-friendly architecture.

Excellent safety and performance

Our magnesium formwork undergoes rigorous testing and structural optimization to ensure the highest level of safety and structural reliability.

Certified for safety and performance, it can be used reliably in any challenging work environment, including commercial, residential, and industrial applications.

Efficient maintenance work

Because concrete does not adhere well to the surface due to the nature of the epoxy coating, the amount of concrete removal required is significantly reduced.

Some adhered concrete can be easily removed using shot blasting, high-pressure water jetting, or concrete dissolving agents.
