1. Next-generation continuous casting technology: Twin Roll Casting
We have secured both price competitiveness and quality through the Twin Roll Caster process, which innovatively shortens the traditional DC (Direct Chill) Casting method.
By shortening the complex process between casting and rolling, we drastically reduce production time, thereby providing our customers with the most competitive prices.
Since it is cast in a much thinner state (5-7mmt) than Direct Chill Casting (rapid cooling solidification), the microstructure of the rolled material is dense, which enables better properties to be expressed.
2. Magnesium-specific rolling solution
PPM, which best understands the properties of magnesium, has customized equipment and advanced rolling technology.
We have designed and installed a dedicated magnesium rolling mill, and maximize production efficiency and maintain consistent sheet quality through online heating and reversible rolling processes.
Based on our unrivaled shape control and heat treatment technologies, we have the industry's highest level of wide-width plate production capabilities.
